The 2001 and 2004 US Open Champion Retief Goosen is one of the best golfers of his generation and is a truly global professional, holding membership on three PGA Tours: the US PGA Tour, the European Tour and the Southern African Tour, and winning tournaments in every corner of the world.
Retief has been doing well this season. He started the year with a win on the Sunshine Tour at the Africa Open in January 2009. His best finish on the PGA Tour thus far was at the Transitions Championship in Florida which he won in March 2009, beating Charles Howell III and Brett Quigley by 1 stroke.
Since 1995 there has not been a year when Retief hasn’t obtained a victory on one of the world’s major Tours. Retief is now rightly counted amongst the elite multiple Major winners.
