K.J Choi has the distinction of being the most internationally successful Asian male golfer of all time. He was the first Korean-born player to earn a PGA Tour Card and the first Korean to win on the PGA Tour. K.J. was also the first Asian to break into the World Top 10 player ranking and is a national sporting hero in his home country of South Korea.

K.J.’s best result on the PGA Tour in 2009 has been tied 3rd at the Northern Trust Open in February. His last win was at the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2008. That was also his 7th PGA Tour victory. He is currently placed 76 on the PGA Tour’s money list for 2009.

K.J. established his career on the Asian Tour, where he started out before leaving to join the PGA Tour. His last win in Asia was at his home open, the 2005 SK Telecom Open in Korea.
