CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: The burly Artemio enjoyed a breakthrough triumph at the 2007 Iskandar Johor Open, becoming one of three Filipinos to enjoy victories that year.

Artemio fell victim to a poor putting spell in 2009 and failed to retain his Tour card after finishing 70th on the Order of Merit. He managed a tied fifth finish at the Indonesia President Invitational but subsequently triumphed in the 2010 Asian Tour Qualifying School. He first enjoyed a top-10 at the 2007 Motorola International Bintan in Indonesia and finished tied 11th in the Philippine Open.

Artemio was highly rated during his amateur days where won the Philippine Amateur Open as a 16-year-old and represented the Philippines national team in 1999 and 2000.
