ASIAN TOUR - TELEVISION ENG & NEWS CREW REGULATIONS
- All news organizations & ENG television crews must be accredited with the Official media officer or the Asian Tour before being allowed entry to each event. This applies to BROADCAST RIGHTS HOLDERS and NON RIGHTS HOLDERS.
- IN the event of NO live television broadcast - Only one camera per organization will be allowed into the golf club and course. News coverage/duration of a particular day’s play is not restricted however, should be no longer than three minutes. Sports Anthology series and magazine shows must clear footage rights directly with Asian Tour or Asian tour Television.
- Asian Tour Television are the only credited organization allowed into each event with multi camera ENG crews for the purpose of shooting Asian Tour Weekly and Asian Tour Highlight programme content.
- News ENG crews are limited to a maximum of one cameraman, one producer and one assistant. Any other member of the ENG crew (presenters. Etc.). And is only permitted to shoot behind boundary/ roping set by event organizers.
- IN the event of a LIVE television production, Non rights holders (NRH) ENG crews are NOT permitted onto the golf course to shoot inside OR outside the ropes OR from any vantage point (including media centre, sponsor marquees, clubhouse….etc) to obtain footage of ANY player during his round without the prior permission of Asian Tour Television and Asian Tour.
- For this week’s Iskandar Johor Open, ENG TV crews are allowed to film the action on the golf course at the 1st tee and 10th tee (behind the ropes only). There will also be designated areas near the 9th and 18th greens to film these two greens. No other access are allowed onto the golf course.
- Non Rights Holders (NRH) ENG news crews will be allowed into media centre and club house proximity ONLY so long as they have official accreditation provided by Asian Tour.
- Only television cameras associated with the LIVE broadcast will be allowed to shoot from within the gallery ropes and camera stands. No other television cameras albeit Non OR Rights holders are allowed on the live broadcast camera stands under any circumstances without the permission of the host broadcaster.
- Rights holder (RH) ENG crew is only permitted to shoot behind gallery roping/ boundaries or from an area pre-determined by Host broadcaster. The ENG crew will be moved from their shoot position if they are HINDERING or BLOCKING the host broadcaster’s live camera view.
Anyone who does not follow these simple rules will be escorted from the Golf Club premises and may have their accreditation denied for further events.
