MEDIA INVITATION
The 2nd Iskandar Johor Open (IJO) – one of Malaysia’s most prestigious golf tournaments - will be played at the Royal Johor Country Club (RJCC) in Johor Bahru from Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2008. Some of the biggest names in golf, including world No.5 Vijay Singh and current WGC - Bridgestone Invitational champion; and Malaysia’s very own rising star, Ben Leong, will be vying for the US$500,000 purse prize.
The IJO is supported by the Johor state government and Iskandar Malaysia – the regional authority charged with the responsibility of transforming south Johor into an economic dynamo by 2025.
